Services - Epidural & Facet Injections

Epidural Injections are a combination of a local anesthetic (numbing medication) and a corticosteroids (anti-inflammatory) medication that is injected into the epidural space. The idea is not to fix the underlying problem but to provide short to mid-term relief. Often, conservative care Physicians will order an Epidural to provide the Patient with temporary relief so they can continue with their conservative care in an effort to correct the underlying problem.

Facet Joint Injections, a corticosteroid (anti-inflammatory) is injected into the joint to reduce pain casued by swelling.  The idea is not to fix the underlying problem but to provide short to mid-term relief. Often, conservative care Physicians will order Facet injections to provide the Patient with temporary relief so they can continue with their conservative care in an effort to correct the underlying problem.
